Helping Hands of Harpeth is a team of 7-8 Harpeth members who have a passion and genuine desire to help our neighbors in need – whatever that might look like – everyone’s struggles are different. The team, led by deacons Dave & Liz Piper, work closely with various leaders to find needs in the community that are not met. We are also partnered with GraceWorks in Franklin, TN and assist them in special events throughout the year.
This holiday season, we have several opportunities for you, your home groups, family, etc. to get involved and make an impact on those around you who might be suffering in some way right now. Please look below and sign up for something or everything!
Harpeth Angel Tree:
Helping Hands, our community outreach ministry is excited to coordinate our 3rd annual Angel Tree at Harpeth! This year we are supporting 2 local schools, My Friends House (teen boys home) in Franklin and families in our church body during the Christmas season.
The tree will be open from Nov 15 – Dec 6. All items must be returned by Dec 6.
This year we have even more ways to participate in the Angel Tree program:
- Virtual angels who can be chosen on the app or online.
- Cash/check donations at the “North Pole” box in the lobby.
- “Angel Tree” option while giving tithe/offering on the app or online.
- Take an ornament from one of the trees in the lobby.
The Manger is an annual Christmas program for eligible neighbors in Williamson County. With the generosity of our local community donating new items ($35 or less for infants to seniors), and with the help from teams of volunteers, a “store-like” environment is created just for these families to choose their own gifts. More info soon!
