DESCRIPTION:Hurts… Habits… and Hang-ups… we all have them! The purpose of Harpeth Christian Church’s Celebrate Recovery Ministry is to fellowship and celebrate God’s healing power in our lives through eight recovery principles and the Christ-centered 12 Steps. This experience allows us to be changed… when we open the door by sharing our experiences\, strengths\, and hopes with one another. \nBy working the steps and applying their biblical principles\, we begin to grow spiritually. We become free from our addictive and compulsive and dysfunctional behaviors. This freedom creates peace\, serenity\, joy—and most importantly\, a stronger relationship with God. \nWe meet every Thursday night at Harpeth in  “Bldg B” (second building when you pull in). The meeting begins at 6:30pm with worship and a short teaching. Then at 7:30pm\, we begin the open share time in a small classroom (separated by gender to help maintain a safe environment). DESCRIPTION:Once a year\, Harpeth Christian Church comes together for our annual Serve Day! This year\, we’ll gather for one service only on Sunday\, September 28th at 9:00am. Childcare will be available for birth–age 3\, but there will be no Kids or Student classes as families are encouraged to serve together on this special Sunday. DESCRIPTION:This summer at VBS\, kids will discover how they fit into God’s incredible story—just like Joseph did.\nUsing a fun play on the word “fit” (yes\, it means outfit!)\, we’ll look at the story of Joseph through three key moments—and three outfits he didn’t quite fit into: \n			\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				His Colorful CoatHe didn’t fit in with his family. \n			\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				His Prison GarbHe didn’t fit in as a foreigner. \n			\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				His Egyptian CottonHe finally saw how he fit into God’s plan to save many lives. \n			\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				Through creative storytelling\, music\, games\, and hands-on fun\, kids will learn that while the world offers all kinds of ways to try to fit in\, only God can show us our true place—trusting Him and joining in His mission to rescue and restore. \nVBS is for Completed Kindergarten – 5th Grade.
