Celebrate Recovery

Hurts… Habits… and Hang-ups… we all have them! The purpose of Harpeth Christian Church’s Celebrate Recovery Ministry is to fellowship and celebrate God’s healing power in our lives through eight recovery principles and the Christ-centered 12 Steps. This experience allows us to be changed… when we open the door by sharing our experiences, strengths, and hopes with one another.

By working the steps and applying their biblical principles, we begin to grow spiritually. We become free from our addictive and compulsive and dysfunctional behaviors. This freedom creates peace, serenity, joy—and most importantly, a stronger relationship with God.

We meet every Thursday night at Harpeth in  “Bldg B” (second building when you pull in). The meeting begins at 6:30pm with worship and a short teaching. Then at 7:30pm, we begin the open share time in a small classroom (separated by gender to help maintain a safe environment). We have several groups for your choosing: whether you are struggling with addiction, codependency, anger, pornography—or whatever your particular challenge is.If you have any questions about this recovery ministry or how you can get involved, please contact our Celebrate Recovery Deacons, Denny and Debbie Hinds.

Divorce Care

Find help and healing for the hurt of separation and divorce. The program we have at our church is called “DivorceCare,” and it’s a national ministry that focuses on cultivating a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most challenging experiences. Don’t go through separation or divorce alone; join others who can encourage you.

The class meets on Tuesday nights at 6:30-8pm –  on Zoom.  Visit the DivorceCare website to learn more about this class and get registered.
