Hurts…Habits…Hang-ups…we all have them! The purpose of Harpeth Christian Church’s Celebrate Recovery Ministry is to fellowship and celebrate God’s healing power in our lives through 8 recovery principles and the Christ-centered 12 steps. This experience allows us to be changed…when we open the door by sharing our experiences, strengths, and hopes with one another. By working the steps and applying their Biblical principles, we begin to grow spiritually. We become free from our addictive, compulsive and dysfunctional behaviors. This freedom creates peace, serenity, joy and most importantly, a stronger personal relationship with God. We meet every Thursday night at 6:30pm with worship & teaching. At 7:30pm we begin our open Share Group time with gender/issue groups. Share group time ends at 8:30pm.

DivorceCare on Zoom

Please email DivorceCare for information on the Zoom meetings.

We meet every Tuesday @ 6:30pm. Find help and healing for the hurt of separation and divorce. The program we have at our church is called “DivorceCare,” and it’s a national ministry that focuses on cultivating a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most challenging experiences. Don’t go through separation or divorce alone; join others who can encourage you. For more info click here.

NANCY BAUGHMAN – Nancy Baughman served as Executive Minister and Minister of Spiritual Formation at Fourth Avenue Church of Christ before retiring in June 2016. Her training is in education and was a school principal in Denver before moving to Tennessee in 2005. She is a trained Spiritual Director and offers direction privately and leads directed retreats. She also teaches women’s Bible classes.

Studying to gain new understanding of the culture Jesus stepped into has been a quest for several years. As Jesus was teaching God’s Kingdom, He always used cultural references which we often misunderstand without looking through a cultural lens. We shall unpack some of those lessons in our day together on August 20, 2022.
