NO 2022 Women’s Wednesdays Fall Break

2022 Women’s Wednesdays Fall Sessions – September 7-November 16 (We Will Meet Monday Oct 3 and NOT Oct 5 and off Oct 12 for Fall Break)

9:30am and 6:30pm – Childcare with morning session with registration.

Renovation of the Heart by Dallas Willard will be offered both morning and evening. Click here to order.

In Renovation of the Heart, Willard tackles one of the most important issues Christians face: how does God transform our character so it reflects Christ? On one level, the answer seems simple. We read our Bible, go to church, pray, and over time we become more mature and Christ-like. But we must acknowledge that everywhere we turn we find self-proclaimed Christians whose character does not resemble Christ. Then, if we are honest, we must also acknowledge that we are engaged in a life-long struggle to be transformed into Christ’s image.

God of Creation by Jen Wilkin will be offered as a morning session only.

Click here to order to order from Amazon.

Click here to order from Lifeway.

In God of Creation, Jen Wilkin will, in 10 sessions of verse-by-verse study, dive into Genesis 1-11 by following three critical stages of understanding: comprehension, interpretation, and application. Revisit familiar stories and historical figures, challenge your basic knowledge, and discover deeper meanings in the text. As God reveals Himself through Scripture, we can only begin to understand ourselves when we first glimpse the character, attributes, and promises of our Creator.

Digging Deep – Biblical and Systematic Theology

Biblical and Systematic Theology: A 6-Week Class on Vital Doctrine for the Christian Life

When Harpeth created our in-house Biblical and Systematic Theology class, the heart of it was to provide for you a picture of the whole landscape of theology from 30,000 feet in order to see how it all works together and makes sense with Jesus at the center. You’ve heard of theologies like Calvinism and Arminianism, the atonement, the trinity, and the nature of Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. What are these and how to they fit together in a system based on Scripture? And importantly how does thoughtful engagement with theology change our lives in a way that nothing else can? Those are the main questions we will answer in this six-week class.

Join in-person or watch online with Chad Harrington, deacon of the teaching ministry at Harpeth.
